Shopping Tips

To get the most out of your farmer's market shopping experience we recommend that you come early for the best selection and leave time to shop and visit. Bringing your own shopping bag is a great idea. Having cash to spend in small denominations is very helpful to the vendors. We do not take credit or ATM cards at the market and personal checks are at the discretion of the individual vendors.

Vendors

Full Season vendors are at the market pretty much every week. Crops and creative ventures vary so there is always something new!

Half-Season vendors may be at the market every other week, start coming later in the season or stop earlier.

Occasional vendors may attend the market just for one day, or many days during the season. Join us every Saturday to see what is new and available.

Abraham's Faith Gardens

We'll be bringing a variety of homegrown garden veggies to the market as the season progresses. Last summer we had a bumper melon crop, with a number of desert varieties to choose from. Our produce is always garden fresh and very tasty.

Avalon Healthy Homestead Harvest

We have dried gourds ready for art projects and possibly some finished gourd art for sale. Occasionally a variety of vegetables in season grown using organic methods. We're not certified, just honest! Soft and warm alpaca fleece for spinning will be available from Alpacas of Avalon starting in June, then later in the summer yarn for knit or crochet, and beautiful hand-made finished products including scarves, hats, and sox. Home-made solar appliances, plus renewable and sustainable energy info courtesy of Jonathan Avalon and Off-Grid Solutions.
